Kids Going to College?

If your child is 18 and heading off to college, you may want to consider some legal documents for them to execute before they leave the nest. How about a power of attorney for property so that you can handle financial matters for them? Banks will not allow you to access their financials unless you have this, or are a joint account holder. Also consider a HIPAA release so that you can have access to their medical records should something happen. Contact my office for more details!
